Campus Anniversary Theme Speech Contest
To celebrate the 21st anniversary of the founding of Anqing Foreign Language School and promote the campus spirit of ‘sharing hardships and joys together and uniting with one heart’, on the afternoon of May 8th, the Chinese language teaching group of Grade 7 in our school held a theme speech contest titled ‘Twenty-One Years of Sharing Hardships and Joys Together, Uniting with One Heart for the Future’, which conveyed the sense of patriotism through the ‘Voice of Youth’, thus interpreting the spirit of striving through the role of young people, and injecting vigorous vitality into the campus cultural construction.
To be concrete, after the initial competition within the classes, 19 students from the seventh grade stood out and were selected to participate in the final stage. Meanwhile, at the competition site, the contestants focused on the theme, either passionately recounting the hard-fighting stories of Anqing Foreign Language School's 21-year history, or affectionately narrating the warm moments of the collaboration between teachers and students, or looking at the present and envisioning the mission and responsibility of the young people in the new era.
In a nutshell, this competition was judged by a panel of seventh-grade Chinese teachers, who evaluated the speeches based on multiple aspects such as content, language expression, and emotional impact. Additionally, the winners of the first, second, and third prizes were determined accordingly.
